BODY-ahhhhh

"A black body is an idealized physical body that absorbs all incident electromagnetic radiation, regardless of frequency or angle of incidence." WIKIPEDIA

I recently a sent a query, via Instagram, to the world -- black body bidness.  Can't help but feel a certain type of way, the way "body" gets assigned.  Colloquially. Racially. Generally. Eceteraly.  Bottom line?  I'ma always have a problem with distillation, unless it's in a bottle.  Whole people, my people, black people, have been reduced to carcasses.  It's become academic, theorized, and co-opted by talking heads -- melanized. And it seems I'm screaming into a paper cup; like I'm the one who's tripping.  A gaslit bitch raising sand for no reason.  But words matter.  The more we say it, the more it knits itself into "reality".  But I ain't no...body.  Right?
