Fairchilde Publications (or Thots on Lady Elaine’s Museum-Go-Round) 

Description: A Lazy Susan-styled object divided into 16 wedges.  Each section houses a “book” from the expanding HOOD TALES collection, with fanned page edges visible around the perimeter. The interior is faceted with custom cut Plexiglas, reflecting the spine of the “book” - - text is legible.

Medium and Support: Lazy Susan platform, custom pedestal, print to order paperbacks, custom cut Plexiglas, paint, additional materials to be determined. 

Special conditions about the piece we should know about: The piece is meant to be experienced interactively, by the audience and museum staff.  QR codes with an amazon purchase link should be available on wall didactics and written materials.  QR codes will be included on the piece itself, revealed when a book is removed.
